A new Project – Great Artists of Mallorca

Mallorcas Kunstszene ist so vielfältig wie die Insel selbst! Die Landschaft, das Licht, das Meer, die Sonne und das mediterrane Lebensgefühl zog schon immer Künstler aus aller Welt magisch an und ließ sie Kunstwerke von großem künstlerischem Wert schaffen. Auch die zeitgenössische Kunst der Insel wird von dieser Magie inspiriert. Zahlreiche wunderbare, die Sinne berührende mallorquinische und internationale Künstler leben und arbeiten hier und wir haben es uns zur Aufgabe gemacht, all diese wundervollen Menschen und ihre Werke zu portraitieren.

Palma entwickelt sich gerade zu einem der wichtigsten Kunstzentren Europas. „Warum nicht all diese wunderbaren Künstler in einem Werk vereinen und so ein einzigartiges Werk schaffen, das einen intensiven Überblick und Einblick in die aktuelle Kunstszene ermöglicht?“ So begegneten wir all diesen wunderbaren, inspirierenden Menschen, um sie zu portraitieren. Sie vereint große persönliche Authentizität, die Leidenschaft für ihre Kunst und intensive schöpferische Lebenskraft.

Geplant sind Ausstellungen in Palma und Wiesbaden sowie ein hochwertiges Coffee Table Book. Diese Website ist „Work in Progress“ und wird in den nächsten Monaten immer wieder aktualisiert. Das Projekt erstreckt sich bis Herbst/Winter 2024.

Mallorca’s art scene is as diverse as the island itself! The landscape, the light, the sea, the sun, and the Mediterranean lifestyle have always magically attracted artists from around the globe, allowing them to create works of art of great artistic value. The island’s contemporary art is also inspired by this magic. Numerous wonderful, captivating Mallorcan and international artists live and work here, and we have made it our mission to portray all these outstanding personalities and their art.

Palma is currently evolving into one of the most prominent art centres of Europe. “Why not unite all these wonderful artists in one work and thus create a unique work that provides an intense overview and insight into the current art scene?” With this idea in mind, we encountered all these wonderful, inspiring people to portray them. They all share a high level of personal authenticity, a passion for their art and intense creative vitality.

We plan to organise exhibitions in Palma and Wiesbaden as well as to create a high-end coffee table book. This website is a work in progress and will be updated regularly over the course of the next months. The project will run until autumn/winter 2024.
